Electronic Arts' footballing franchise suffered a 40 per cent drop in sales this week, but still managed to outpace the chasing pack and hold onto top spot.
The highest new entry was Lego Batman, Traveller's Tales second entry into the top 20. Usually it would have batteranged the top slot quite easily, but it was unfortunate to be released at the same times as the latest FIFA game.
Wii Fit is still hanging about in the top three, leapfrogging The Force Unleashed in the process.
There were surprisingly large shifts in the charts this week, with Grand Theft Auto IV racing back into tenth (from 18th), Family Trainer moving up to eighth (from 14th) and Super Smash Bros: Brawl going from 19th to 13th.
Falling past them were Pure (which slipped from seventh to 16th), Lego Indiana Jones(which went from 11th to 18th) and Mercenaries 2 (which fell from tenth to 19th).
Finally, Spore held onto its top 20 spot (just), falling from 16th to 20th.
