Call of Duty Holds On To Top Spot
Call of Duty: World at War debuted at number one in the UK's all formats charts. The shooter stubbornly holds on in the week ending 22nd November.
But where the monkey's is World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King?
We reported that it was the fastest selling PC game of all time, but it appears that the majority of its sales were funnelled into its launch week. The World of Warcraft expansion crashed and burned at 34th.
The Wii has its necessary penetration of the charts with Mario Kart Wii and Wii Fit holding the flag. Wii Music slowly crawls up the charts.
Gears of War 2 tumbles down the chart and the magnificent LittleBigPlanet fails to enter the top 20 at 24th. Mirror's Edge once again drops off, disappointing developer DICE with a sorry 28th.
The week's new releases, Tomb Raider: Underworld and Left 4 Dead, make a respectable showing at 9th (despite lower than expected review scores) and 15th respectively. It'll be interesting to watch
Resistance 2's placing next week.
