Eurogamer Expo
If you want to play Bayonetta, God of War 3, Assassin's Creed 2, Heavy Rain, Red Steel 2 and others before they hit stores, you'll be interested in our latest competition.
[UPDATE] - This competition is now closed. Three winners were picked at random and will each be going to the Eurogamer Expo for free with a friend.
Congratulations to our three winners and hopefully we'll be able see many of you there in London!
Our thanks goes to Eurogamer for the tickets!
[ORIGINAL ARTICLE] - Yes, we're giving away three pairs of tickets to the Eurogamer Expo!
Sony, Microsoft, Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, Eidos, SEGA, Capcom, Konami, 2K Games, Bethesda, Namco Bandai and Deep Silver will all be bringing playable games to the event.
Unlike last year, the Eurogamer Expo will be taking place in two UK cities; Leeds and London.
The Leeds event will be held on the 27th and 28th October at The Royal Armouries, with the London event making its way to Old Billingsgate on the 30th and 31st October.
There's going to be a bunch of games to be played at the event, with many not to be released until 2010. These include Dante's Inferno, Aliens vs. Predator, God of War 3, MAG, Red Steel 2, Bayonetta and Heavy Rain among others. You can find a full list of the event's playable titles below.
"This year's event is coming together really well," said Rupert Loman, managing director of Eurogamer. "We've got some fantastic games on show and ticket sales are miles ahead of last year. With such great support from the industry we're on course to making the Eurogamer Expo the UK's best gaming event."
The Indie Games Arcade and the GamesIndustry.biz Career Fair will also make a welcome return to the Expo.
Tickets for the Eurogamer Expo are priced at £6 per day and are now available at
http://expo.eurogamer.net
But before you go off to buy them, we want to give you the chance of winning one of three pairs of tickets! The bad news is that you must be aged 15 or older to attend the event, but the good news is that you can decide which event you want to go to (either Leeds or London) and on which day. Plus, if you don't want to take a friend with you, you'll still get two tickets and you can go by yourself on two separate days!
So how can you win a pair of tickets to the Eurogamer Expo? We'll be continuing our tradition of Twitter Competitions, with three separate give-aways over the next couple of weeks. Just keep your eye out on our Gamezine Twitter account for this tweet:
"Want to win two tickets to the Eurogamer Expo http://bit.ly/Mh5Cv ? RT this tweet and follow @Gamezine #GamezineCompetition"
...And follow the instructions.
Sign up to Twitter if you haven't already, re-port the above tweet and
