Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Infinity Ward's second entrance in the Modern Warfare 2 series will once again drag Call of Duty out of the Second World War and into the modern day.
Though Infinity Ward has decided to drop Call of Duty from the title, Modern Warfare 2 is very much a sequel to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
The Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC first-person shooter was officially announced on February 11th 2009 and will be published by Activision for a November 10th release.
Modern Warfare 2's gameplay is said to be more open-ended than Call of Duty 4, though a linear story will still remain.
Two-player co-op will make its way to the game, but unlike Treyarch's Call of Duty: World at War, this will not be part of the main single-player campaign. Instead, Modern Warfare 2 will feature a Special Ops mode with co-operative missions.
