Improved GamerNet in Tiger Woods 09

Tuesday, August 05, 2008 12:00 AM

EA Sports has announced it will be refining and improving the GamerNet feature for the 2009 version of Tiger Woods PGA Tour.

The improved GamerNet should feature "more seamless integration, enhanced user-interface and daily winners", according to the PR blurb.

For the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game, GamerNet will also have 'Instant Challenges' - long drives, difficult approach shots and putting, for example.

Players will be able to 'post' new challenges from within their current game.

The game will, as has been revealed before, feature 'personalised tutoring' from Tiger Woods' personal coach, Hank Haney, plus simultaneous online play.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 will be available on August 26th on Xbox 360, PlayStation 2 and 3, PSP and Wii.
