Nintendo's European 3DS plans 'soon to be unveiled'

Will 3DS get release date? Thursday, December 16, 2010 4:49 PM

Nintendo's plans for the 3DS console in Europe are soon to be unveiled, it has been claimed.

The launch plans for the handheld look set to be announced at a press event on January 19th in Amsterdam, with certain media publishers already being sent guest invites, according to MCV.

As well as this, the website claims that the event will inform the world of the 3DS' European release date, price and its initial line-up of titles, with MCV touting The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time as a possible contender for the launch.

This news comes after Sega confirmed that the working title Super Monkey Ball 3DS will be available on the launch of the 3DS console in Japan.

The game will take full advantage of the console's 3D capabilities, as it allows gamers to utilise its motion sensor and slide pad to navigate the puzzle mazes that the franchise has become renowned for.
