A mouth-watering week of releases

This week is set to be a big one in the world of gaming, with a number of mouth-watering releases - none more so than 'Mass Effect 3'.
The final instalment of BioWare's Commander Shepard trilogy is set to storm to the top of the gaming charts, with the pre-release hype having been building since IGN gave it the title of 'Best Role-Playing Game' in its Best of E3 Awards last year.
This RPG is pure Hollywood storytelling gold focusing on the battle between man and machine, and even features the voice of actor Martin Sheen.
Its innovative features include the option for fans of the trilogy to import their saved data from the first two titles in order to shape the gameplay in the new edition.
Mass Effect 3 made the news last week for less positive reasons as it came to light that high street retailer Game would not be stocking it after a dispute with the title's publisher EA.
It is estimated that this could cost the struggling retailer between £1.5 million and £2 million in gross profit this year.
However, there was more bad news for Game yesterday (March 5th) as Capcom announced that Game will not be stocking a further two more of this week's big releases: 'Street Fighter x Tekken' and 'Asura's Wrath', both scheduled for release on Friday March 9th.
Street Fighter x Tekken sees the collision of characters from the two legendary beat 'em ups and Asura's Wrath playing out like an anime series.
Also out this week, two titles for handheld fans with 'Lego Harry Potter: Years 5-7' out on the PS Vita and 'Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D' out on the Nintendo 3DS.
All of these titles are likely to surge into the gaming charts as PS3, Xbox 360, Vita and 3DS gamers trip over themselves to get their hands on them.
