Apple gamers smarter than Android ones?

Android users are doughnuts? Wednesday, April 04, 2012 4:34 PM

According to new figures, Apple and BlackBerry users are smarter than Android ones.

App developer Yo Ambulante says that out of the top 20 players of its 'Traffic Wonder' game worldwide, nine have been playing on an iOS device, seven on BlackBerry PlayBooks and just three on Android. The last entry in the top 20 is a PC user.

Alex Nino, a developer for Yo Ambulante, said BlackBerry users are impressing him with their performances with the puzzle game, which involves players negotiating courses with their vehicles while avoiding running out of fuel or crashing.

"Given the smaller market for BlackBerry PlayBook when compared to iOS and Android devices, they are doing very well for themselves," he said.

In the first 14 days, 12,000 players from 108 countries have crashed 437,476 times in-game.

As an Android user myself, I obviously dismiss these findings and also feel compelled to download the app to show those Apple users how it's done.
