Nintendo fans have been given an unexpected sneak preview of what they can look forward to when the Wii U launches later this year.
A Rayman Legends trailer is currently doing the rounds on YouTube showcasing some of the innovative features - including a touch-screen controller, motion controls and full 1080p HD graphics - that make it look like Nintendo really is onto a winner with its latest console.
What's more, in the trailer, excited gamers are seen placing Ubisoft figurines onto the Wii U's tablet controller in order to activate new in-game functionality - such as the appearance of Raving Rabbids and even Assassin's Creed characters - using near-field communication technology.
As well as these controller options - although you can never be too sure from a trailer - the graphics look stunning, with rich colours and fluid character movement.
The gameplay also seems fast and furious, which should make the four player action pretty exciting.
An "epic rendering engine", "social gaming" and "exclusive content" are also promised in the trailer.
With Ubisoft - Rayman's developer - apparently swiftly moving in to disable the first video, this suggests the company very much wanted to keep this under wraps until the E3 Electronic Entertainment Expo taking place in June at the Los Angeles Convention Centre - an annual event that acts as the curtain raiser for the newest in gaming technology.
However, the appearance of the Rayman Legends trailer is by no means the first breach of secrecy surrounding the Wii U and its games.
Earlier this month, the website Wii Daily claimed that it had obtained an email from Tokyo game store Media Land stating that the Wii U will launch on November 18th 2012 in North America, followed by Japan a week later.
A European release date was not given.
