Rambo: The Video Game preparing to kill it at Gamescom

Rambo coming to Gamescom Friday, July 06, 2012 5:57 PM

London-based games publisher Reef Entertainment has announced that its new title, Rambo: The Video Game, will be making its debut at Gamescom.

Gamescom, an annual fair held at the Cologne Exhibition Centre, in Cologne, Germany, is taking place between August 15th and 19th this year and Reef said that the game, which is based on the film series starring Sly Stallone, will be available as a playable demo on the exhibition floor.

Commenting on the development, Craig Lewis, the commercial director at Reef, whose previous titles include Sniper Elite for Wii, said: "We have been quiet since we acquired the Rambo licence last August [from the distributor Studiocanal].

"During this time we have been dedicated to creating a video game for consoles and PC that will allow Rambo fans and gamers across the globe to really get under the skin of Rambo and wield his iconic weapon-set in battle."

More details are forthcoming, Reef said.
