THQ has announced pre-order offers for the upcoming release of the next WWE gaming instalment, ‘If ya’ smell what The Rock is cooking!’, WWE ‘13.
Customers pre-ordering WWE ’13 for the Xbox 360 and PS3 at GAME or Gamestation can get their hands on an exclusive CM Punk t-shirt featuring the WWE Champion styled as never before in his now iconic pose. Anyone looking to get their hands on the offer needs to pop to the local high street, as it is available in-store only.
However, there are offers available for those that opt to do their pre-ordering of the most anticipated games of the year online. Ordering through Amazon.co.uk will mean buyers can receive the Prima WWE ’13 Attitude Era Guide, which includes detailed guides for over 60 matches from the Attitude Era single-player campaign. The guide includes insider tips for bonus-objectives, a staggering amount of unlockables – including Attitude Era superstars, arenas and championships – as well as huge array of detailed moves, stats and bios for wrestlers that made the Attitude Era such a memorable time for wrestling.
Customers of HMV that are looking to pre-order WWE ’13 will also receive a freebie on top of their purchase with the WWE ’13 ‘Live The Revolution’ wristband.
For years THQ has delivered a WWE experience that has become engrained in the gaming calendar, every year the game offers that little bit more and WWE ’13 is set to do just that. Gameplay will be transformed through WWE Live, offering the most authentic crowd, commentator and sound effects to ever appear on the WWE franchise.
This year’s game is also set to offer players the chance to experience the atmosphere of the squared-circle with the awesome realism as THQ introduce ring breaks and barricade crashes.
Perhaps the biggest change to WWE ’13 from previous years is the introduction of the single player campaign, which will take a player on a journey through the Attitude Era. Monday Night Wars, WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin and the colossal revolution that changed wrestling into what we know it to be today are all part of the campaign.
WWE ’13 will be released on November 2.
