Wii Fit steps up to the top once more

Tuesday, 15 Jul 2008 10:54
Wii Fit's sales may well have been spurred on by the infamous dancing girl YouTube clip
It seems the stock problems Nintendo was experiencing with Wii Fit have finally ironed themselves out and the results are there for all to see.

It has moved ahead of previous chart-toppers like Super Smash Bros Brawl, Lego Indiana Jones and Battlefield: Bad Company, having been out of the charts itself only a couple of weeks ago.

Kung Fu Panda and Wall-E were the other two major risers this week, both riding on the gravy train of success spewed out by their motion picture cousins.

Metal Gear Solid 4 and GTA IV continued to slip slowly down the charts as their initial momentum continued to fade.

The Bourne Conspiracy is crying wolf as it also slipped a few places. Everybody is out to get it, apparently.

Despite Race Driver: GRID receiving a new patch, sales have continued to fall, the racing title teetering on the precipice of oblivion, propped up only by one of the bevy of new Pokemon games.

More chart-based 'hilarity' next week.
