The first teaser trailer for the sequel to American McGee's Alice unearths a 2011 release date.
Cult classic PC game Alice from
American McGee will be seeing a resurgence in 2011 with 'The Return of Alice' from McGee, Spicy Horse and EA.
Alice, a unique third-person action game based on Lewis Carroll's stories, was developed by Rogue Entertainment and released in 2000. The sequel, developed by new Chinese studio Spicy Horse, was announced by EA in 2009.
"This new project is a dream come true for me and the fans who've kept the Alice flame alive," said American McGee, senior creative director at Spicy Horse.
"EA gave us creative latitude and support on the original game which resulted in something beautiful and daring. This trip through the looking glass promises to be even more exciting."
We were expecting the sequel a little earlier, but the stop motion trailer below reveals the 2011 release period for all to see.
