Free Realms has once again enjoyed another surge in membership, reaching three million in only seven weeks.

Sony Online's free-to-play online PC video game Free Realms at first romped past one million users after only 20 days, amassed two million after one month, and now has reached three million in under seven weeks.

Free Realms, which can be found and played after this link, launched on April 28th. Although currently only available for the PC, the game will be released on the PlayStation Store for PS3 this autumn.

"SOE worked diligently over the past four years to ensure that Free Realms would take the online space by storm," said John Smedley, president of Sony Online Entertainment.

"We are pleased to be able to provide such a vast, in-depth and, most importantly, fun world to an average of 500,000 new gamers per week."

To celebrate this three-million strong community, SOE will grant its members the '3M Pet Party Pack,' which includes goodies for use with their virtual cats and dogs. Players have until Friday June 19th to redeem the pack.
