Project Trico trailer is year old internal test footage

Project Trico
Team Ico's latest PlayStation project is still in development but at least we're finally getting a glimpse at some footage. It is, however, internal test footage from well over a year ago.
At first you'll spot an image that we've
already seen from Team ICO; a chain sunken into a well. But then you'll get much, much more. A mixture between Agro the horse and the Colossi of Shadow of the Colossus appears on-screen - a griffon, or more accurately an eagle crossed with a rat (you'll see).
Everything shown fits perfectly within the ICO universe and matches what the studio's head Fumito Ueda has already teased about the game; it'll be a mixture of ICO and Shadow of the Colossus (codenamed NICO).
Now, some are questioning where this footage is from, how it appeared on the internet, and whether it means Team Ico will be showing their game at E3.
Well,
PlayStationlifestyle.net managed to stumble accross this footage from well over a year ago. The following trailer is early test footage that was only shown internally (until now) and is no indication that the team will be appearing at this year's E3 Expo. Moreover, the music included is place-holder only, it's from Miller's Crossing, a 1990's Coen Brother's film.
Since it looks like the "griffon" is just a youngen, and also appears to help your character reach higher places, perhaps as you feed your pet it'll grow even bigger and help you reach higher locations in the magical land shown. Maybe it'll grow its wings...Just a thought.
Our thanks go to NeoGAF.
