PlayStation 3
An Italian retailer has entered the fray of PS3 price cuts, reducing the 80GB console to only 249 euros.
Following
our story on a ?100 price cut being listed on an online Spanish retailer, an Italian retailer has now joined the party.
Online
Italian retailer CHL has cut the PS3 80GB model from ?389 to only ?249. Quite a significant drop, and lower than the ?100 cut that Sony is predicted to announce at GamesCom in Cologne on August 18th.
Could the reason be that they are clearing their stock for a new model, such as the PS3 Slim? For remember,
Japanese retailers are also set to discontinue the 80GB PlayStation 3.
