Sexy Poker
Sexy Poker is coming to the Nintendo Wii!
Yes. The family friendly Wii has earnt a dose of sexy poker. Gameloft's Sexy Poker, originally a mobile game, could be the one mature Wii game to achieve considerable sales, after The Conduit and MadWorld had failed before it.
Releasing for 500 Wii Points on Wii Ware this August, Sexy Poker will get your pulse racing with "strip poker against a selection of six lovely manga-style women who may wind up in nothing but swimsuits or underwear when the final hand is dealt."
The game's only 1-player, so the whole family can't join in. Instead you'll be playing strip poker alone with these Manga women, who each have their own unique personalities. From classic Texas Hold'em to Black Jack, you'll unlock pictures for your personal photo gallery if you keep on winning. Yay?
"If you're good enough, Emi, Sakura and their seductive girlfriends will bet their clothes to stay in the game," the game's press release writes.
Who knows what GameLoft is on, but they hope that this M-rated Wii poker game will bring in a little bit of dosh.
The game's release has already been
banned in Australia, with the country's ratings board deeming it just a bit
too sexy:
"In the Board’s view Sexy Poker offers depictions of nudity as an incentive or reward to interactive game play. In the Board’s view, the general rule in the Guidelines for the Classification of Films and Computer Games prohibiting depictions of nudity as an incentive or reward, applies to the game play described above, as the player is shown increasingly detailed amounts of nudity following successful game-play."
Overturn from Studio Zan and Tecmo Bowl from Tecmo will also be hitting Wii Ware this month, priced at 500 and 600 Wii Points respectively.
Wii-mote implementation has not been confirmed for Sexy Poker yet, but MotionPlus could surely make the game even sexier...
