Bully banned in Brazil

Brazilian state embarks on anti-Bully campaign
The Associated Press has reported that a Brazilian state has issued a ban on Rockstar Games' controversial chinese-burn-'em-up Bully.

According to AP, Judge Flavio Rabello has ordered the suspension of all sales of the game in Rio Grande do Sul, the most southerly province in the South American country.

"The aggravating factor is that everything in [Bully] takes place inside a school," said Rio Grande do Sul state prosecutor Alcindo Bastos. "That is not acceptable."

Bully was released on the Xbox 360 and Wii in March, with the original PS2 version going on sale in the US in 2007. An attorney for the game's distributors in Brazil claimed they had not been informed of the judge's ruling.

Rockstar have declined to make a statement on the ban to AP.
