Harry Potter won't be Lego-fied any time soon.
Last month we
reported on a reliable rumour that Harry Potter was the next film property to be reincarnated as an incredibly popular LEGO video game. Today
Eurogamer reveals that the rumour is false.
According to a source close to LEGO developer Traveller's Tales, a LEGO Harry Potter game is not on the cards for 2009. However, the source doesn't rule out a release at a later date.
Speaking to BBC Radio 1, Traveller's Tales Nick Ricks commented;
"There will be a LEGO game in 2009. And I think it's okay to say that you'll be a bit surprised."
A bit surprised? Perhaps it's another Star Wars game.
