New Xbox tipped for 2010?

Tuesday, 13 May 2008 12:22
Sketchy, vague rumours claim 2010 will be the release year for the next Xbox. Just don't put any money on it
A few rumours have been spreading like wildfire on fan forums in recent times, specifically in relation to the next iteration of the Xbox.

Microsoft's future plans are naturally shrouded in complete secrecy, but this hasn't stopped the rumour-mongers spreading gossip around the place.

US magazine Game Informer believes fans of Achievements will have something to cheer, if rumours about them carrying over to the next system are to be believed.

The other rumour, of course, is that the next Xbox will be released in and around the year 2010. Quite a way off then, even if this speculation turns out to be true.

Microsoft are unlikely to confirm either of these rumours, so treat them as just that for the time being.
