Assassin's Creed Sequel Confirmed

Ubisoft has confirmed that an Assassin's Creed sequel is in the works.

The company announced the game's development at a conference call this week, stating that they "are working hard on the product."

Since the first game's ending was so confusing and open ended, a sequel was always inevitable. Lets hope they've learnt from its mistakes and make Assassin's Creed 2 a more engaging, glitch free experience.

Still, we might have to wait quite some time for its release, since they couldn't even confirm a fiscal 2010 release. An Ubisoft executive stated that the sequel would only be released once there was "more anticipation for it".

For now, Ubisoft relies on gamers digging the latest Prince of Persia instalment, which poetically features an Altair skin.
