Indiana Jones on Wii, PS2, PSP and DS
Indiana Jone's new adventure not only features cooperative gameplay, but also a four-player versus mode.
Following its
reveal trailer, we now have the very first information on Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings.
The Wii/PS2/PSP/DS game will take Indy from San Francisco's Chinatown to the lush jungles of Panama, where he'll have to use his whip, guns and fists in a quest to recover a priceless relic: the Staff of Moses.
The game will feature interactive environments that can both result in ways to dispel enemies or in the classic Indy action sequences we've come to know and love. These will include thrilling vehicle chases, such as flying a biplane through a canyon, or riding an elephant (NB: not a vehicle) through the streets of Istanbul; and also close escapes from falling temples.
Nintendo's systems will have one advantage; the Wii remote and DS stylus will be used to control Indy's whip in combat and puzzle-solving.
We've already revealed that the original Fate of Atlantis will be included as an unlockable in the game, but now you can look forward to cooperative gameplay in both a number of modes and also a separate quest featuring a new playable character. Not only this, but the game will include a four-player versus mode where you'll be able to go head-to-head in biplane and tank battles.
Aren't you gutted this
isn't on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 now? Here's one of the first screenshots (platform unknown):
