Demo for Condemned 2 available

Friday, 14 Mar 2008 14:51
Tarred, but no feathers?
Monolith Productions today announced the release of a playable demo for their new title Condemned 2: Bloodshot, available on Xbox Live Marketplace.

The second game in the series continues to follow the exploits of former Serial Crimes Unit investigator Ethan Thomas as he tries to make sense of the sinister world around him. To do so, he has an all new set of high-tech forensic tools at his disposal, with a far more interactive environment to play about with.

The demo is taken from half way through the first level, giving players a taster of the main plot and how it looks likely to shape up. Whether the mannequin men who nearly gave this reporter a heart attack in the first game will return, I couldn't possibly comment (although my nervous system hopes not).

The full game is set for release on April 4th for both the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3.
