Leaked God of War 3 gameplay footage

Thursday, 26 Mar 2009 09:20
God of War III
Sony Santa Monica presented God of War III at GDC '09 last night and here's the leaked footage.

At least, here's some low-resolution leaked footage of a gameplay sequence shown at this year's Game Developer's Conference in San Francisco.

You've seen the highly edited God of War trailer, but now you can watch pure real-time gameplay.

Of course, the game is still in development so taper your expectations in accordance.

In the video you'll see Kratos square off against a bunch of blue-shielded enemies and a Cyclops. A typical quick-time mini-game is triggered, showing off the game's dynamic camera.

It was said in the presentation that the game will run at 60 frames-per-second, but the game engine might drop framerate in certain scenes; however, it'll never go below 30 frames-per-second.
