Christina Ricci and Mark Hamill join the cast for the new Spyro game
Sierra has confirmed the latest instalment in the Spyro series will feature the voices of several new Hollywood luminaries, including Christina Ricci.

Elijah Wood returns to reprise his role as the titular character in Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon, with Gary Oldman also returning.

Among the new stars to lend their voices to the game are Christina Ricci, providing the voice of Cynder, and Luke Sky ... sorry, Mark Hamill as the Dark Master.

Sparx will be played by comedian Wayne Brady and Hunter will be voiced by LA Law and Dirty Sexy Money's Blair Underwood.

Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon is slated for release on PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PS2 and DS in October. Those who have seen footage of the game at Sierra's Spring Break event last week claim it will be a step up for the series.
