Memento Mori to feature 'innovative' dialogue

Wednesday, 08 Oct 2008 12:36
I'm pretty sure there have been other adventures with icon-based dialogue systems...
The upcoming 'mystery thriller' adventure game, Memento Mori, will feature a dialogue system that the developers have described as 'innovative and comfortable'.

While characters talk to each other, the player can control the dialogue via "easy-to-use" symbols.

A 'friendly smiley' indicates a positive answer, a 'sad smiley' produces a negative/aggressive reply and the question mark will elicit a question.

To be honest, it doesn't sound wildly original to us, but anyway.

Memento Mori involves a mysterious art theft in Russia, with heroes Max and Lara putting themselves in the firing line in order to bring the criminals to justice.

The game is expected in 'autumn 2008' - so keep checking the release schedules.
