The release date for F1 2009 on the Nintendo Wii and PSP has been announced.

Codemasters today announced the release date for F1 2009, the official FIA Formula One World Championship video game, on the Wii and PSP.

The game will release in the UK on November 20th for both platforms. The PSP version will also be available for download on the PlayStation Store. The Wii game will feature two player split-screen, and the PSP four-player ad hoc multiplayer.

The US will see the game on November 17th, the rest of Europe on 19th November, and Japan on December 18th.

Codemasters won the F1 video game license from Sony Computer Entertainment in 2008 and will use it to release an Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC game in 2010.
