Gamezine Competition: GripShift XBLA Code Giveaway

Tuesday, 16 Dec 2008 10:07
GripShift
Christmas is almost here and we're celebrating the festive season by giving away a bunch of GripShift XBLA download codes, and we'll throw in a little more just for good measure.

The award winning arcade driving game has appeared on a number of platforms, but its developer, Sidhe Interactive, is now celebrating the XBLA version's first anniversary by letting us give away a number of free download codes.

“Our celebration of the release and success of GripShift on Xbox LIVE Arcade is in full swing,” said Mario Wynands, Managing Director of Sidhe Interactive.

“A download code giveaway is a perfect opportunity to extend that celebration to gamers and introduce a whole new audience to the title.”

Now we thought we'd make this a little more interesting by throwing in a World of Warcraft graphic novel for our top two winners.

So, how can you win? Simply describe why you deserve the prize in the comments section and then the Gamezine massive will vote on the best answers. Think creatively people!

[UPDATE] - Thanks for the entries! The competition is now closed. Winners have been contacted.

  • "Because I am a hardcore gamer at heart, that puts gaming ahead of a lot of things. Very few casual games appeal to me but when I downloaded the trial for this I played it for an hour. It would be a great game to play with the little ones at Christmas. Oh and Ill let you lick the lollipop "

    Tyler (USA) Posted: 16/12/2008 16:16:53

  • "I think I should win because I work three jobs for christmas time and still have no money"

    Connor (Houston) Posted: 16/12/2008 16:26:48

  • "There once was a small cow, she often watched through the window as I played my games. She watched as I put on the Gripshift demo the other day and was moved to tears. As I didn't have enough money at the time, I could not get the full game. Lack of money also caused me to eat poor Bessie yesterday. In Bessie's memory, I would like to play the full game. At least I'll be able to play on a full stomache."

    Leon (PA) Posted: 16/12/2008 16:51:10

  • "I've been solving the worlds problems for the last decade now. "Superhero"? No. I just do what needs to be done. It's no surprise that you haven't heard of me. I try to keep a low profile. But, it has come to my attention that there is a game that might be able to test even my lightning reflexes. If Gripshift has what it takes, then it has my attention and deserves to be on my Xbox."

    Karen (US) Posted: 16/12/2008 20:06:15

  • "I'd like to win as Santa won't be bringing me any MS points this year, and by you giving me the points it will bring back the holiday spirit and the rest of the world will be merry once again. If not, well, if we wouldn't want a L4D Christmas right?"

  • "I would love to win this game. I love racing games, I will actually play this game and continue to go back to it at different times between new games. This game looks very interesting and I only have ever bought one arcade game(Bomberman)which i enjoy. I am not allowed to buy much on the marketplace, therefore id be awesome to get something new.I have never won anything before but since this game looks so cool i figured it was worth a shot"
