E3: Left 4 Dead coming in November

Tuesday, 15 Jul 2008 11:35
Left 4 Dead is an exciting prospect for those interested in co-operative gaming
Valve has told the zombie-baiting public at large that Left 4 Dead, its undead-blasting, co-operative online shooter, will be heading its way on November 7th.

Both the PC and Xbox 360 versions should be out on the same day, three days after the US release date (the 4th of November, just in case you hadn't worked that out yet).

Developed by Turtle Rock, Left 4 Dead is an online co-operative zombie shooter that allows you and three other people to go up against hordes of zombies in various different locales.

Another four players could potentially be lying in wait for you, though, as there are four special zombies who can be controlled by human players, which adds another layer to the tension.

Incidentally, November 7th is the same day Gears of War 2 will be released in Europe, but I know which one I'd rather be playing (it doesn't start with G).

Check out the latest Left 4 Dead clip below, straight from E3:
