Thursday, 10 Jul 2008 09:45
Lips - perhaps not the best name ever given to a videogame
Kotaku has reported that Microsoft is planning to unveil a "brand new music/singing" game at the E3 trade event next week.

This is according to Variety, on whose blog site Kotaku spotted the story, who heard "somebody involved in promoting it" claiming this would be the case.

The singing game could be the fabled Lips, mentioned famously in the accidentally leaked reports from market research company, Intellisponse.

That information claimed Lips would work with two wireless microphones, featuring 30 songs on the disc, with more available for download.

The option to import your own music from an iPod, Zune or other media source was also listed.

Microsoft will be taking its press conference on Monday evening, so keep an eye on Gamezine for the latest E3 news next week.
