EA apologises for Bad Company servers

Monday, 30 Jun 2008 10:46
Bad Company, bad servers...
Electronic Arts has apologised for the persistent bad connection issues that have been plaguing Battlefield: Bad Company on the Xbox 360 over the weekend.

The company is apparently hard at work on a fix for the problems.

"We are aware that some X360 players are having issues connecting to the Bad Company servers," EA acknowledged in a statement.

"We've been monitoring stats non-stop and are working with several partners to locate any possible flashpoints and eradicate any hostiles we encounter."

The rather light-hearted tone of the statement may well not be so amusing to those who've spent 40 quid or so on the game, but anyway.

"Until we are ready to implement a permanent fix, a possible workaround is to turn off your console for approx. 20 minutes before turning it back on and connecting again."

If in doubt, pull the plug out then. Users will be hoping a less haphazard solution will arrive soon.

Meanwhile, lookout for the Gamezine review coming your way this week.
