Euro SOCOM Pushed Into 2009

Just in time before PlayStation 3 gamers head to the shops, make sure you pick up Resistance 2 and not SOCOM Confrontation.

Not just because Resistance is the better game, but because SOCOM won't be available.

Although the game has been out in the US for a month now, Eurogamer reports that the game's European release has been pushed back into an undefined 2009 date.

This is despite us recounting its unconfirmed 28th Novemeber release date in the beginning of the week.

The reason for delay? Resistance 2, released today, needs its time in the sun? Or because technical problems caused poor US reviews for the online only title?

Whichever, you'll have to wait a little longer for Confrontation.
