Is the Killzone 2 Superbowl ad fan-made? [UPDATE]

Killzone 2
Seen the supposed Killzone 2 Super Bowl advertisement? Don't get your hopes up, signs point to it being fake.
We all know Sony needs to air Killzone 2 gameplay trailers before its release; something the company arguably missed out on before the
release of LittleBigPlanet. Killzone 2 is looking great and the reviews are starting to back up the hype that's already
engulfed many of you. So, it's time to let the world know...with a Superbowl ad?
Many joked that Sony would get Killzone 2 into one of America's biggest sporting events, until the video at the bottom of this article made it onto the web. It looks well edited and relatively genuine, if not a little naff - "SUDDEN DEATH MEANS YOU DIE SUDDENLY"? *Cringe.*
So is this really an official Sony Superbowl ad? It's an odd length at 52 seconds, especially when a 30-second spot costs as much as $2.5 million. Is the company really blowing up to $5 million on this one spot?
It's true that Killzone 2 hype needs to reach the real world, otherwise the
sales will be modest; but can they afford $5 million? It'd be wrong to point towards
Sony's current financial situation as evidence for them holding back the cash, since not only has Sony put aside a massive £2 million for Killzone 2's UK publicity budget, but they've also bought two Superbowl spots - both for upcoming movies.
That's right, we know this year's
Superbowl ad roster and Killzone 2 isn't on it. Sorry folks, it's just not there.
Now there's a few possible explanations. Perhaps Sony is airing the advertisement before the Superbowl coverage begins (hence, "Enjoy the Game"); maybe the ad is a web tie-in for video game websites to host; or maybe it's not an official Sony ad at all and is simply fan made...sorry.
[UPDATE] - Sony's Jeff Rubenstien has confirmed on the PlayStation Blog that the following trailer is not official:
