Play three different species in Aliens vs Predator

Thursday, 23 Apr 2009 15:00
Aliens vs Predator
Like Rebellion's previous Aliens vs Predator game, you'll be able to play as a human, alien and a predator in three separate campaigns.

Following the supposed cancellation of the Aliens RPG, SEGA promptly announced a new Alien vs Predators game from the critically acclaimed Rebellion studios.

The game is set thirty years after events in James Cameron's Aliens film, where an earth-like planet has been colonised by murdering aliens. Whilst marines fight the iconic creatures, predators arrive to get their taste of blood.

Of course, this kind of concept was always awful on the Silver Screen, but it's the perfect narrative for a video game and Rebellion are the folks to make the most of it.

In the game you'll get to choose your race and take part in three species specific single-player campaigns, in addition to three way multiplayer.

Aliens vs Predator is set for release in 2010 and though the PlayStation 3 is the only confirmed platform, this is mainly due to the preview being featured in a PlayStation-only magazine - we expect the game to release on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
