Sin City in hands of new developers

Wednesday, 27 Aug 2008 09:42
Frank Miller's Sin City will soon be adapted into game form, but we don't know who by as yet.
Red Mile Entertainment has confirmed that the Sin City game adaptation is still on course for a 2009 release, but it will no longer be handled by Transmission Games

The team at Transmission will instead be concentrating on the flight combat sim, Heroes Over Europe, due out in 2009 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

"Transmission is focusing on Heroes Over Europe, which is quite an important title for us," Red Mile told Gamespot.

Yesterday, Gamespot reported that responsibility for the Sin City game had been handed over to an "as-yet-unannounced development house".

Powered by the Unreal Engine 3, the game is still on course for a 2009 release, so fans shouldn't start weeping just yet.

We also don't know exactly what platforms the game will be out on, but it is a safe bet it will be on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, with a PC version also a possibility.
