Rumour: Brutal Legend on its way to Wii

Friday, 03 Apr 2009 10:12
Brutal Legend
Heavy Metal action game Brutal Legend might be having an outing on the Nintendo Wii.

Double Fine's Brutal Legend is on its way to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this autumn, but there are now rumours that the game could also be coming to the Nintendo Wii.

Following a cryptic comment from Double Fine's Tim Schafer when asked whether the game might come to the Wii - "We are making an Xbox 360 and a PS3 version of Brutal Legend" - Variety's blog has spilt the beans on a Wii version of the game.

Double Fine will only be making the PS3 and Xbox 360 version, but EA has reportedly engaged with another developer to get Brutal Legend out on the Wii sometime after the game's "next-gen" release. EA has declined to comment on the speculation.
