Lengthy Final Fantasy XIII gameplay footage
Friday, 25 Sep 2009 10:43
Final Fantasy XIII
Final Fantasy XIII shows its face at the Tokyo Games Show, providing us with new and lengthy off-screen gameplay footage.
Square Enix officially announced in September that
Final Fantasy XIII
would be seeing a PlayStation 3 release in Japan
on December 17th.
This makes the Tokyo Games Show the last major event for the company to show off the title, and so Square has gone all out with a playable demo on the show floor, featuring both Lightning and Snow.
Thanks to
Gamersyde,
we're able to bring you gameplay footage featuring both characters. Please
visit the folks over at Gamersyde,
since they're bringing all the best bits from TGS '09.
Sony Computer Entertainment Japan also announced a
250GB special Final Fantasy XIII edition
of their PS3 Slim, bundled for release alongside the game's launch in December.
A European and US release is expected for 2010, but it could take as much as
"6-8 months"
after the game's Japanese release, due to localisation and Xbox 360 development.
