Video: Resident Evil 5's Mercenaries Mode

Capcom announces a new mode for Resident Evil 5 before its launch next week.

Mercenaries Mode returns for Resident Evil 5. The bonus mode, which sees players compete against the clock to kill as many enemies as possible, was a huge hit with Resident Evil 4 fans.

The game launched in Japan today, with sales performing well on both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. With bundles infecting retail stores, the game is expected to move hardware for both consoles.
