Halo ODST
Halo 3 ODST has seen a 75 per cent drop in sales in the UK.
Fifa 10 was the game to take the top spot in the
UK charts this week, becoming the second biggest launch in the country since Grand Theft Auto IV.
Halo 3: ODST, which became the
twelfth fastest selling individual format game in the UK, sold 64 per cent of its week one sales in only 24 hours.
For comparison, Fifa 10 had a much bigger launch on both the Xbox 360 and PS3, coming in at fifth and sixth place in the list of individual format UK launches.
Sales of Halo 3: ODST have now fallen by 75 per cent in the country, dropping to third place behind Professor Layton and Pandora's Box. Reduced sales could have something to do with reports of the
game not working on some Xbox 360's, which
Microsoft and Bungie are attempting to fix.
2.85 million total players have been online in Halo ODST since its launch two weeks ago, following a spurt of more than one million players in its very
first day on sale.
