Take your time, Rockstar: PS3 and PC finally get GTA IV DLC

Friday, 29 Jan 2010 16:45
GTA IV
Sam Houser of Rockstar Games was a proud man today, announcing what many gamers have been waiting for after months of jealousy at their Xbox 360-owning counterparts: the availability of downloadable content (DLC) for Grand Theft Auto IV on the PC and PS3.

"It's been a long time coming, but we are proud to finally deliver Episodes from Liberty City for the PC and PlayStation 3," Houser grinned, as Sony and desktop fans around the world undoubtedly started body popping.

He continued: "We appreciate the patience of our PlayStation 3 and PC fans worldwide, and we look forward to putting the games in your hands this March."

This means that the two episodes which build on Niko Kovac's exploration of Liberty City will be out in just under two months on March 30th, namely the bike gang-based Lost and the Damned and the slightly more upper-class experience had in The Ballad of Gay Tony.

Nobody knows what cost these will come at, though most reckon it will be around £12, essentially making it one of the better-informed purchases of the last few months through online marketplaces.
