Game based on Pixar film tops charts
Not only is the film proving successful, but the latest GfK ChartTrack figures show Toy Story 3 is charming gamers too: it's claimed the top spot on this week's list, rising from its debut position of fifth from last week.
It's the second-highest grossing film of 2010 so far and the game has pushed Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption down into second place, while Ubisoft's Dance on Broadway has gone down to third.
Meanwhile, Square/Nintendo's Dragon Quest IX has made its debut entry on the DS at number nine on the list and Xbox 360 exclusive Crackdown 2, which has rode the top spot for a couple of weeks, has plunged down to tenth place.
Finally, there was a bit of a shocker for Activision Blizzard's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, which has disappeared from the top ten for just the second time in 37 weeks. This will, however, more than likely be compensated for by the release of Starcraft II today (July 26th).
