Wii Fit
Many people are hardcore gamers. Some of the demographic are simply happy to accept the fact that they rarely leave the house and see the light of day.
Luckily, manufacturers are happy to consider this to be the case and rightly profit off it, as per the laws of capitalism. This seems to be the case with the Riiflex, a strange yet intriguing dumbbell design for the Nintendo Wii's remote and nunchuk.
As ergonomic weights with a genuine gym quality about them, each green-coloured weight is made from cast-iron, a polycarbonate and a soft-to-touch rubber mould casing that allows people to keep hold of their controllers when pumping iron in the front room.
And with the seeming plethora of games for the format, including Wii Fit Plus, My Fitness Coach, EA Sports Active, Fitness Ultimatum, and Golds Gym Cardio, it seems the fun will never run out for users of the Riiflex weights.
What's more, they are also compatible with Wii MotionPlus. Bonanza!
It's not too silly an idea, if a recent report is anything to go by; Lara Roberts, a mum from Farnborough, recently told the News of the World about how she lost eight stone in a year by playing on Wii Fit.
