Assault on Dark Athena given release date

The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena release date announced.

Renowned Starbreeze Studios will be releasing their new Riddick game on April 24th in Europe and April 7th in the US, courtesy of their publisher, Atari.

Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network demos will be coming in March.

The game will include the all new 'Assault on Dark Athena' campaign, along with a high-def remake of the classic 'Escape from Butcher Bay,' along with a fully featured multiplayer.

The game is set to continue the series' combination of stealth, action and gunplay to create the ultimate 'next-generation' Riddick game.

The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena will be released on April 24th in Europe for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. For more information on the title, please visit the game's official website.
