No PC version of Tiger Woods 09 this year, unfortunately
This is definitely the calm before the storm, release date fans, as a quick glance at the week after this reveals Spore, Mercenaries 2 and Stalker: Clear Sky, to name but three titles.
Anyway, we're not here (yet) to deal with them, so instead I have to talk about the new Tiger Woods game and some other games you probably won't be buying.
Tiger Woods 09 is, as you'd expect, the next iteration in the popular golfing franchise that the currently injured superstar has endorsed.
This time out, you get personalised training from Tiger's own coach, plus a raft of small tweaks and enhancements that might just about make it different enough from the last one to be worth buying.
Other than that, we have Smash Court Tennis 3 on the Xbox 360, which features stars like Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Tomas Berdych, Gael Monfils, Ana Ivanovic and Maria Sharapova.
