Beyond Good and Evil, the much loved but seldom bought action adventure game, is to receive a sequel, it was revealed on Thursday.
Michael Ancel, creative lead on the first project and now the sequel, explained in an interview with Jeux Video magazine that the game was being developed by a small team.
The reason for this is because Ubisoft has yet to give the title the official green light to progress.
“We want to be a continuity of the first, with a wide variety of stages in the game, a lot of emotions in the gameplay and engaging characters,” Mr Ancel said. “This time we enter the planet’s future.”
Ubisoft has not responded so far when asked for comment, but it is hoped more news will be forthcoming in the near future.
